While file locking was intentionally left out of the Pyramid NFS implementation, we are running into more problems due to the lack of this. I am interested in finding out about any other Pyramid sites that are using NFS, and their feelings regarding the lack of file locking. Opinions either way are welcome (it isn't needed, or we can't do without). Control Data Corporation Integrated Information Systems is a Pyramid Master VAR, and represents in excess of 30,000 Pyramid users (not systems :-o ), if other sites feel this support is necessary (as we do), it will lend more credence to our attempts to convince Pyramid to implement NFS file locking. ------- Barry D.
