I have a zenith h19 or z19, from what I understand they are the same. It is connected to a Hayes Smartmodem 2400. It is connected at 2400. When I issue commands to the mode there is no problem. I.e. all AT commands work as per usual. The problem is that once I dial in anywhere I get a strange kind of half-duplex mode. I.e. I type and m and a quarter second later there is a second m on the screen. So if I type the word "test" fast enough I get.... testtest or some such mixture. Now the thing is if I switch the h19 to half-duplex I will get three letters. I.e. ttteeesssttt or tteesstttest if I type quickly enough. When the modem is connected using the same cable to a Radio Shack Model 102 everything is fine. The cable is a 4 wire null modem. I.e. 2,3,8,20 (or it may be 2,3,7,20) I am not sure as I am not at home at the moment. Anyways..... Any Ideas ?? Thanks, George George Neville-Neil What if they gave an orgy and nobody came ? gnn@mammoth.berkeley.edu The Mammoth Project......It's HUGE !!!
