This puts it perfectly. I sometimes think might be nice would be a comp.text.tex.sources, but few people seem to post sources. Maybe a group would encourage them? And, apart from that, I am happy to deal with the amount that is posted. (So I throw away most of it, but at least I know what I am throwing away, if you split the groups then probably I will not bother to read the one with less stuff in it that I am interested in, missing some stuff, and not seeing questions that I might be able to answer.)
