A while ago I read an article about ralational databases.
In this article the author listed a couple of conditions that a database
manager should meet in order to be called a relational database manager.
Unfortunatley I can't find this article anymore.

Does this make any sense to anyone ?
I would VERY much like to what theese conditions are as well as
references to books that deals with them in more detail.
