Can anyone tell me where I can find information on interpreting the output
of vmstat, iostat and pstat? Three Unix Admin books and a heap of Sun manuals
have only served to tease me!
Also, can ayone explain to me how to determine:
Head and channel contention
page rate
load balancing
and hit ratio on a Sun?
The book "Unix Systems Advanced Administration and Management Handbook" 
indicates that these are all areas for weekly monitoring - but then fails to
mention how to get the data!
