I have recently upgraded to Ultrix 4.1. Since the upgrade, I have been experiencing some problems with X. We are running XV11R4, and using twm with DECs X server. My most irritating problem currently is that when I start an xterm and do a rlogin to a remote system on the xterm command line, my window will appear but my session never shows up. I can see on the remote system that I am logged in. It's like xterm has locked up and does not display the information. Trying things like ^C and ~. have no effect. Has anybody else experienced this? It happens whether I use XV11R4's xterm or DECs xterm. I think it must be something interfering between DECs server, twm and xterm. Any help would be *greatly* appreciated!! jeff -- Jeff Kays E-Mail: jkays@msc.edu Minnesota Supercomputer Center Phone: (612) 626-1824 Minneapolis, Minnesota Fax: (612) 624-6550 "May fortune favor the foolish"
