I took some .EPS files created with Adobe Freehand
and used Apple File Exchange to perform a binary transfer of
the files to an MS-DOS diskette.  

then tried to import them into Corel Draw 1.2 and 2.0

The images come through but all have extra nodes connected
to each object in the file all at a common point.

Is there some difference between Mac .EPS files and 
.EPS files on an IBM?

What am I doing wrong?
