Has anyone ever tried to compile xtrek 5.4 - as part of the MIT tape - under
SUN OpenWindows 2.0 ?

I tried it and all seems to work, the game's window comes up. But when I enter
a game and get my ship, all keyboard input is prohibited. Mouse works o.k. but
every keypress is answered by a ^G - looks like typing on the rootwindow ?!?!
