Keyboards tend to vary a lot, and analagous layouts may not generate analagous keysyms (ie: the R1-15 keys on older Suns are analagous to KP_* keys on other keyboards). I find myself running clients intended for one layout on X servers that have an attached keyboard with a different layout. What I want to know is, is there a tool like xmodmap (or a window manager) that will rebind keysyms to other keysyms for SPECIFIC clients. Not a regular reader here... Please email.
