I would like to interface a single chip MCU directly to a cheap hard drive
(MFM/ST-506). This is for  an  inexpensive voice mail system. The data stored
on the drive does not have to be 100% accurate, so I don't think I will
interface using a DD controller. Does anyone have experience with this? Sure
would like some ideas...
