  I am currently looking for a topic for my senior research project for the
next academic year.  I am a computer science major and I would like to work
in the defence industry after I graduate.  It is somewhat difficult to know
where to start looking for ideas.  About half the faculty in the department
are pacifists (including my advisor) so I have had to rule out receiving any
assistance from them.

  The kind of projects I would be most interested in would be coding a module
of a simulation program.  Some friends of mine are already doing something
similar for Boeing (an ILS simulation).  If anyone has any ideas for a
suitable project or could suggest some places to contact for information, I
would be very grateful.
