                            LANDSAT-5 STATUS REPORT
                                February 7, 1991
 
     The Goddard Space Flight Center reported that the Landsat-5 satellite
went into a state of emergency yesterday, due to an onboard command table
anomaly.  The emergency was lifted by the project at midnight (PST) last
night.
