Power bump, cycle through the diagnostics, and up comes the system. I was returned to my vi session, still in insert mode no less! Didn't lose a character. That was one of the nice things about using that machine... (although it wasn't overly speedy, things like this, and certain sysadmin tasks, were set up reasonably well) Cheers!
