Of all the programs for my Apple ][GS which I download, both from this newgroup and from various anonymous FTP sites, I am only able to successfully run about 20% of them. Sometimes I'm thrown into the Monitor with the machine language instruction "BRK C2", and other times I get the "Cannon run. Please try again" screen with the error being identified as $110A. The problem with running any program which fails is almost invariably one of these two. What am I doing wrong? I got my computer a few years ago, soon after the GS model was released, and I have made no enhancements (such as operating system) since that time other than getting a memory expansion card (only 256K extra at this point). Also, assuming I eventually resolve this problem, can anybody suggest a good program for a) displaying $C1 graphics screens and b) playing sound files? (I know SoundSmith is the usual choice, however I think that my measly 512K cannot handle it.) Thanks in advance, Sean
