We are also having a problem with a 3Com Brouter... it occasionally refuses to forward IP packets & stops broadcasting RIP. The bridge still works ok. It rectifies itself after about 2-3 minutes & forwards IP and broadcasts RIP again. No amount of fiddling with obscure bridge/IP options seems to have permanently fixed it. It seems to have settled down at the moment, but at one stage it was failing every twenty minutes. -- _--_|\ Patrick John Herlihy, patrick@ccsd.uts.EDU.AU / \ Computing & Communications Services Division, Ph: +61 2 218 9424 \_.--._/ University of Technology, Sydney, Fax: +61 2 281 2498 v PO Box 123, Broadway, New South Wales, 2007, Australia.
