I haven't been closely following this thread. I'll back track a bit and catch up, then I'll give you my 2 cents. The algorithm runs quite quickly and works strictly in the time domain. I can process one data point every 1.5 milliseconds on a 68000 running at 10 MHz and can generate 4 points (including the original point) to feed to the next stage of my process.
