I just spoke to Mansfield Software about porting KEDIT to UNIX, but Kevin feels the demand is stronger for him to work on a Win3 version, so it's still in the "maybe, someday" list. Emacs is supposed to be able to do everything... maybe some emacs disciple could whip out a set of macros to emulate XEDIT? -Dion -- Dion L.
