I have installed the following elisp code and am having some trouble
getting them to work.  The packages are:
	man+ by aks@hub.ucsb.edu version of 17 May 90
	info by zmacx09@??? version 1.4 on 21 May 90
	ange-ftp by ange@hplb.hpl.hp.com version 3.72 on 11 Jan 91

I have kept them standard and only have changed some variables in my
.emacs.  The variable changes are listed below:
	(require 'ange-ftp)
	(require 'info)
	(require 'man+)
	(setq Manual-directory-list (cons (expand-file-name "~/doc/man")
					  (expand-file-name "/usr/man")))
	(setq Info-directory-list (cons 
				   (expand-file-name "~/lib/emacs_info_files") 
				   (expand-file-name "/usr/lib/emacs/info")))

I get the following errors when I try and use these packages:
on man+ when I enter the TOPIC I get:
	wrong type argument: listp, "/usr/man"
on info, when I try and invoke info from help (C-hi) I get:
	wrong type argument: listp, "/usr/lib/emacs/info"
when I try and use ange-ftp to edit a file (say /etc/motd on thor.acc)
with C-xC-f /swansonc@thor.acc/etc/motd I get the following error:
	file not found and directory doen't exist.

I'm sure these are just stupid errors, but I have not had the time to
go poke around and find them.  If anyone could help I would greatly
appreciate it. 

Since these are rather specific errors, please respond w/ e-mail.  If
anyone wants a copy of the responses, just let me know.
