         Advertising *must* bring in the *major* portion of the
 magazine's revenue, that is the economics of the situation.

 -> it, and few newcomers to take their place.

         FIG as a national organization has no grasp of the following:

         - Business organization.
         - Event organization.
         - Relations with local chapters.
         - Publicity.
         - The economics of magazine publishing.
         - Advertising salesmanship.
         - What young amateur programmers think, want or need.
         - What professional programmers think, want or need.
         - Who their membership is and why.
         - Who has left the organization and why.
