What is the email address of the U.S. Bureau of the Census?

I did not find it in the whois database of nic.ddn.mil (searching
with burea. and looking through the whole .gov domain).

Neither did I find it in the uucp maps.

Just remember, I did not bother with bitnet, but I wouldn't expect
that either.

Yet one of my superiors insists the Bureau has an email address, and
that I better find it.
