The problem appears to be with signals and shows its ugly head as follows. Let's say I am in mush, and am in the process of sending some mail. I have ~v and am in my favorite editor. I then ^Z to go off and do something and the 'fg' to resume. Here is where the problem is. Not only is my editor resumed, but so is mush; i.e. I am in the editor AND mush is expecting input. I am running the same version Under Ultrix 3.something without problems. Soooooo, the problem is either a Convex8.1 problem, or a problem with incorrect #ifdefs in the mush source. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance --- W.
