Howdy everyone.

I am looking for some MIDI software that will allow
very fast step entry of music.  Specifically, I want
a major improvement over Cakewalk, since it takes 
7 hours to step record 9 minutes of music on this
one.

Do any of you know about a piece of software that
can write midi files and allows very fast and easy
step entry of a lot of music?
