This card works very well. I had no conflicts, even with an XT hard drive controller card plugged in. My only complaint is that it takes a few seconds longer to boot. I personally own a Conner 100Mb SCSI hard drive and a teac tape backup. While the card recognizes both of these, the hard drive requires no software to run, but the tape backup does. In fact, I got my tape drive from a friend for free without any software. No one on these news groups seem to have any software for it, or they are not willing to help me. Yet, I know that it works. Nevertheless, a SCSI adaptor with a hard drive and a tape drive should be no problem. good luck and tell us all how it works out Alan
