Keywords: protocol printing Message-ID: <1019@pe.dk> Date: 19 Feb 91 12:47:37 GMT Organization: Purup Electronics A/S, Denmark Lines: 20 Does a standard protocol exist for remote printing on tcp/ip ? I have been looking in RFC's and in different litterature for a specification, but haven't found one. I am also interested in specifications for the protocol used by the BSD lpd daemon, and if such a protocol exists for SYSV also the protocol used by the lpsched. Please email any pointers or protocol specifications, I will post a summary if there are interest. Thanks in advance. +--------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | Purup Electronics a/s | Email: ms@pe.dk | | Att: Mogens Soerensen, R&D | Uucp.: ...!mcsun!dkuug!pe!ms | | Sonderskovvej 5 | Phone: +45 8622 2522 | | DK-8520 Lystrup | Fax..: +45 8622 2511 | | DENMARK | Telex: 68242 purel dk | +--------------------------------+---------------------------------+
