Interesting news from the IBM world ;-).  INTEL has released a modem! 
Called the 9600EX, it supports V.32, V.42bis and MNP 2-5 for
throughputs of up to 38.4k.  The really interesting thing about this
release, is that I just saw it from a mailorder house for $479!  Just
thought you amiga types would be interested.  Connects to a standard
serial port.
