Actually, part of the enormous thrill behind Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back is DISCOVERY!! If you knew what was down every pit, or behind every corner beforehand, it wouldn't be any fun, now, would it? So, if you have the ROPE, go down a pit or two! In Dungeon Master there is always a way out of a pit (teleport) so EXPLORE! However, although there may be the odd item that you would find useful, there is nothing down any of these pits that is cruicial to completing the game. Incidentally, if you're looking for a fast way to kill off your Champions and restart, just cast a fireball (high power level) at a blank wall as you stand right in front of it. They'll be history in 1 second FLAT! **Happy Adventuring!!* * -- Stewart Mckinnon - via FidoNet node 1:221/171 UUCP : watmath!xenitec!zswamp!178.0!Stewart.Mckinnon Internet: Stewart.Mckinnon@p0.f178.n221.z1.fidonet.org
