While my experience with war games is rather limited, I have been very impressed and pleased with Lords of the Rising Sun. Basically you are the head of one of three ruling clans in Japan. Your goal is to defeat/ ally with everyone, thereby ruling all Japan. The graphics are superb, and the sound effects are realistic (of course). You have several options as to how involved you want to get. You can manually control a given battle, or let your subordinates do the fighting for you. Your character is very much an integral part of the game. If you are not careful, you may be killed in battle, not unlike Taro in the movie RAN. Another fun war game, though not Japanese, is Empire. It is very addicting and has been discussed extensively a few weeks ago. -- Kyle Gay | "We witness not a fallen world Alpha Rho Gamma | But falling everyday" Minister of Planetary Affairs | -- The Call "When"
