UK Lines: 21 How does one fit a 68881 f.p.u. to an A500 ? Reading the spec on the 68881 in the Motorola data book leads me to believe that the attachment of the fpu ought to be simple. Is it true that once one knows the address space it should reside at all that is required is some address decode logic to derive a chip select line ? Or..does one have to implement an auto-congig feature in hardware ? I intend to design a drop in replacement pcb for the 68000 which will take a 68000 & 68881. All help appreciated (will post info on design when complete). -- =============================================================================== p.j.vossler@exeter.ac.uk (internet) p.j.vossler@uk.ac.exeter (janet) crs14@uk.ac.exeter.exua (internet) ===============================================================================
