Any loose cards perhaps? What happens if you don't type at all but just shake the whole keyboard / base unit assembly? I had my A500 "rebooting spontaneously" while I typed for awhile until I tried the simple shake-test and determined that the fault lay in the fact that I hadn't quite seated things firmly when I plugged the Gary chip into its new "fat memory expansion kludge" home. After taking everything very carefully apart and seating things tightly, the problem went away and I've had 0 problems since.
