I have a friend who is stuck with trying to create and maintain a large
database.  He is looking for someone who has a good technique for storing and
retrieving large (at this point 90+ Megs, will get a LOT larger) amounts of
data in many field, very fast.

He is a pretty good programmer, but hasn't used C much recently and would like
to avoid re-inventing the wheel.  Anyone who has some ideas, regardless of the
system (Apple, ibm, etc) who would be willing to share ideas (or code) please
e-mail to the address below, as I doubt that this will be a topic of general
interest on the net.
