(Note that I have not followed the discussion in all detail, so I may be mistaken.) I have now discovered, after being very bored one night, that the PDT-11/150 which has been sitting in our storage closet works. However, the 8 inch drives in it are very noisy and slow. What I was wondering was if anyone knew whether or not it is possible to replace the old 8 inch drives in this beast with modern 3.5 inch drives. Of course, I realize that I would have to transfer all the software from one format to the other. +---------< Eric A.
