Two ways to do it:

1)  While in the normal Equation Writer (but NOT scrolling mode), press
    STO. 

2)  With the equation on Level 1, press:

     0 [PRG]{DSPL}[NXT][NXT]{->GROB}.

Either way, you end up with a grob of the equation that's at least 131 x 56
pixels.
