None of the phenomena have been reproduced, so I am not certain of the nature of their existence. A few weeks ago, I was able to create a global variable whose name does not appear in the user menu. I remember that the name I used consists of a degree symbol. However, when I tried it again later, the variable's name was on the "user" menu. Yesterday, after idling for a few minutes, the calc. insists on inserting a "B" whenever I pressed one of the four arrow keys. This happened when the calc. was in either "Edit" mode or was with some standard_menu. But it was definitely not the letter "B" that the key I was pressing corresponds to. I have been so far unable to reproduce this. Today, I turned off my calc. while it is in edit mode. After I turned it on again, the cursor freezed, that is to say that it is not flashing or responding to arrow keys. After I pressed ATTN (ON), it went back to normal. When I entered EDIT mode again, the cursor moved on my command as it was supposed to. I am very puzzled by these stange phenomena. I would appreciate if anyone could enlighten me on these matter. Incidentally, I have suspected that low batter might be the culprit because my HP-28S' batteries have never been changed; however, the low battery annunciator is not on yet. Incidentally, could anyone post and tell me where to find a bug list for HP-28S. Thanks
