Message-ID: <6036@ptsfa.PacBell.COM> Date: 19 Feb 91 18:44:37 GMT Organization: Pacific * Bell, San Ramon, CA Lines: 17 I have an old Columbia MPC with two floppies (low density). I recently dug it out of a box and set it up for my 6 year old. He has gotten accustomed to swapping the floppies around (Kids will adapt to anything :-> ), but I'm responsible for making all those floppies. I tried to install a hard disk from an old XT, using the controller from the XT. But, it wouldn't recognize the hard disk. Has anyone sucessfully upgraded a Columbia MPC (cheaply). Will I need to upgrade the power supply also? Does anyone know how to do that too? Any help would be appreciated. The next step is EGA/VGA, if I can do it cheap enough. -- Bob Stockwell Pacific Bell pacbell.com!ptsfa!res
