Message-ID: <9102180701.AA04785@uunet.UU.NET> Date: 18 Feb 91 04:53:26 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Lines: 11 Hi, I am looking for a tape drive backup unit for my Gateway 2000 386/33 tower system with 150meg hard drive. I know very little about what's available, requirements, etc. I would like to keep the price under $500. Do I need a drive with 150meg+ capacity, or a smaller capacity drive be sufficient (using multiple tapes I assume). Do prices quoted in the magazines (e.g., PC Week) include the backup software and controller? Any recommendations, advice, pointers greatly appreciated!
