Hi all,

I am teaching a department of Mechanical Engineers some
introductory computer science theory. Generic enough to
be applicable to any computer system, and where they can
see the utility for their tasks. 

These users are intelligent Engineerings, but completely 
computer-illiterate! I need a manual that I can teach with.
Please make suggestions.

PS keep in mind that we need to start at the BASICS - what 
a file is, what a directory is, what the operating system is,
etc.
