I need a recommendation for a graphics package.

Our problem ...
As a spin-off from some equipment purchases we have a Microtek 300-Z scanner,
this is the colour model.  With this we received Letraet's ImageStudio and
ColorStudio.  These allow us to do quite a bit of very fancy manipulations with
the scanned images, but I'm sure we need something more.

My question ...
Is there a good (mainstream) product that can import 32 bit PICTs and TIFFs?
Something like Micrografix Designer in the PC world.
