While compactor's interface is wonderfully simple, on the surface, Stuffit doesn't seem to be very different from Compactor; just a lot more capabilites. Best thing for me, though, is that it can handle compressed files in just about ANY format, from Packit to DiskDoubler to Zip. It's handy to have them in one program. I do use both, though.
