Often Kermit is slower than even 128 byte Xmodem on our systems. Also, Zterm 0.85 does not support Kermit at all. I do know of a Xmodem routine that is available via anonymous FTP from sites like Sumex-Aim@stanford.edu that is called vax-xbin. It allows Xmodem transfers with the vax. Having used this program before, there are a few things you should be wary of when using it, such as that your vax should be set for 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit (8N1 settings). If you cannot find this, please e-mail to me, and I will try to send it to you. ========================================================= Shishin "Squish" Yamada |\/\/\/| squishy@casbah.acns.nwu.edu /---------\ | | Northwestern University | Yo | (o)(o) | Electrical Engineering | Dudes! \ (_ ) Class of 1991 \__________\ |___. | \ | / \ /______\ =========================================================
