Keywords: Macintosh laser printer power supply Message-ID: <1991Feb17.203947.25793@Neon.Stanford.EDU> Date: 17 Feb 91 20:39:47 GMT Sender: torrie@Neon.Stanford.EDU (Evan James Torrie) Distribution: comp Organization: Computer Science Department, Stanford University Lines: 22 I'm intending to buy a Mac LC system, and possibly a laser printer, here in the States, and then take it overseas to a country with 220V/50Hz power. I know the LC unit has a auto-switching power supply. My questions are about the monitor, and the printer. I understand the 12" monitor plugs directly into the wall socket. Will it work on either voltage? How about the 13" monitor? Secondly, laser printers will probably need to be bought specifically for 220V/50Hz power I imagine. Does anyone have any recommendations/comments/thoughts on such purchases? Please email and I will summarise. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Evan Torrie.
