If you are thinking of buying a scanner could you tell me what you want to do with it and what types you've found that will do the job. If you have already bought a scanner could you tell me what you bought it for and wether it does the job. I am intending to use a scanner for mainly line art but if the price difference is not too great I would get one that scanned text as well. There are several types of scanners as you may well be aware; e.g. Hand scanners, Thunder scan, Flat-bed scanners, Colour scanners, and they all require different software ?????? Your comments please. ------------------------- Simon Plint TUNRA BSH University of Newcastle, N.S.W. AUSTRALIA. _________________________
