What printer/cabling/driver combinations fill these requirements: 1) The absolute cheapest output from the Mac, both graphics and text (prob. a Grappler 9-pin w/ cheap 9 pin Centronics). 2) The cheapest near-LASER quality (very good inkjet) for TEXT (graphics nice but not necessary). 3) The cheapest laser printer. 4) The cheapest postscript laser. Remember, put the printer, method of connection, printer driver, and any possible problems with the printer set up (remember, this is for NEW Mac owners, like myself) and I'll post a list of replies in a week or so.
