Hm, the file(1) command on the NeXT with system 2.0 doesn't seem to
use an /etc/magic file or anything like that.  I want to teach it
about some more file formats.  I don't suppose it uses a netinfo
database or something and that's why I can't find it, hm?  Well, does
anyone know how to teach the distributed file(1) command about new
formats?  If not, can anyone tell me where to pick up a free
implementation of file(1) that'll listen to an etc/magic file?
