Lines: 29 David, We have just completed installing a site which used Novell's SNA Gateway to an AS/400, allowing all users on the LAN we installed (10baset ethernet) to access AS/400 sessions. we used novell's 3270 workstation for dos and did keyboard re-mapping to make up for the 5250 emulation on the keyboard. we did this because we could use a product called connecting room from helix software to swap the 3270 software into upper memory, and with loading the netware shells high, we provided approximately 550k of dos useable memory for our users to be able to run a large clipper application and hot key to their as/400 sessions, which were running vertical market software. the connection to the as/400 was done with a token ring connection. oh, i wouldn't recommend using pc support to anyone, even if i really hated them. well, okay, if i really hated them, but only then.
