Keywords: novell, unix, terminal services Message-ID: <1991Feb19.115633.19883@cica.indiana.edu> Date: 19 Feb 91 11:56:33 GMT Sender: news@cica.indiana.edu (News System) Organization: Indiana University Lines: 21 Nntp-Posting-Host: ogre.cica.indiana.edu We're installing a HP unix system in the near future. At the same time we will also be installing a Novell network. Tied to the HP will also be at least one other Novell lan by T1 link. Both lans will need terminal services into the HP. (running HP/UX) Questions Is Portable Netware running on the HP the best way to achieve the seamless connectivity we desire? (as our vendor contends) Or is running a seperate Novell server with the HP on the same backbone better? Users will be using a financial system on the HP. We also want mail going to both lans as though one. Suggestions, comments, etc . . . welcomed. Post here or email me with replies. Thanks in advance. -- ----------Richard M.
