A while back ( > 1 year ), I recall a posting about the "on" command being
a security risk so I disabled it on all our Sun systems.  Now a user has
asked to have it reenabled and I can't recall why it was/is a risk.

What is the risk if any and under which rev of SunOS?  Please respond by
email and I'll summarize to the group.
