I've posted at least two messages indicating the bug exists in AT&T
Sysv/386 3.2.1.  After a few communications with AT&T, we've discovered
that last time my system was built, I neglected to use the 3.2.1 upgrade
disks; I've been running 3.2.0 all along.  My apologies to the AT&T
personnel who tracked this down, and to the net.
