Summary: SCO Open Desktop Driver Needed for TLI ET4000 SVGA Card Keywords: SCO UNIX X ODT Message-ID: <978@stewart.UUCP> Date: 13 Feb 91 17:18:29 GMT Reply-To: jerry@stewart.UUCP (Jerry Shekhel) Organization: Polygen Corporation, Waltham, MA Lines: 19 Hello. I have a Tseng ET4000-based graphics card -- the Diamond SpeedSTAR SVGA w/1MB RAM. I've been using it with ODT's driver for the Orchid Designer card, which was based on the earlier ET3000 SVGA chipset. My old monitor, an original NEC Multisync, had a vertical hold control which could be used to adjust the display to a stable (and fuzzy) 800x600 resolution. My new monitor, a Seiko 1440, does not have such a control, and the display is all screwed up in 800x600 X-Windows. I know the problem is not the monitor/card combination, since MS-Windows runs fine at 800x600. But I do need an updated driver (.xgi file). Does one exist? If so, I would greatly appreciate any information on where to get it. -- +-------------------+----------------------+---------------------------------+ | JERRY J.
