After installing RISC Pascal (or was it Risc FORTRAN...) it ended up installing a new verison of the compiler (cc2.1 instead of cc2.0). In looking at /usr/bin/{as,cc,etc) we see: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 5 Aug 24 17:05 as -> as2.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 26 Aug 24 17:05 as2.0 -> ../lib/cmplrs/cc2.0/driver lrwxr-xr-x 1 root 26 Oct 29 16:32 as2.1 -> ../lib/cmplrs/cc2.1/driver lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 5 Aug 24 17:05 cc -> cc2.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 26 Aug 24 17:05 cc2.0 -> ../lib/cmplrs/cc2.0/driver lrwxr-xr-x 1 root 26 Oct 29 16:32 cc2.1 -> ../lib/cmplrs/cc2.1/driver In other words, cc is still linked to cc2.0, etc. Should I just go ahead an relink them? Sounds logical to me! Roland -- Roland J.
