I would like to find a buffers.com that works for dos4.xx. Reformatting the (200 meg) drive for dos3.xx is not an option. I would also like suggestions as to the best way to use qemm - it seems to work as an ems manager for windows in enhanced mode but I thought xms was faster? I can't get windows to fly in enhanced mode with the extmem=xxxx parameter set. Example config.sys files would be a big help. -- Neal i1neal@exnet.iastate.edu "A poor fool indeed is he who adopts a manner of thinking (meant) for others!" - Donatien-Alphonse-Francois de Sade "When I use V.M.S., I feel as if I am bothering it." - Me
